Mission Statement:
To provide disadvantaged youth and adults with a creative form of guidance counseling associated with “The Power of Applied Thought, also known as NOESIS.” This program consist of physical exercise, journal writing combined with cognitive behavioral and existential counseling (defined as an optimistic approach in that it embraces human potential, while remaining a realistic approach through its recognition of human limitation).
Brief Program Outline:
- Implementation of a weekly Physical Training regimen
- Implementation of weekly Journal Writing practices
- Guidance Counseling in the form of Classes/Seminars (Goal Setting, Decision Making, Discussion regarding the How, What, Where and Why Behaviors)
- Common Life Skill Development Counseling
